Silk Kimono
Our pure silk pieces are all totally unique, each having been skilfully upcycled from a second hand silk sari. Our tailors working in our Jaipur studio are silk specialists and with Farzana’s design input they craft a beautiful new garment from fabric that has plenty of life left and a new story to tell.
Our kimonos are things of beauty and style whether worn as occasion wear as a long jacket or as relaxing leisure wear.
Each jacket has ties on the right front edge and on the inside seam to keep the kimono in position when being worn wrapped around the body and belted.
They also have ‘all important’ side pockets.
All kimonos are the same length except the Claret with white, pink and sage flowers which is shorter at 108cm from collar to hem. Still the same process of design, just slightly shorter for a smaller stature.

Can be washed by hand in COLD water with a gentle non-bio detergent. The colour will run, but don’t be alarmed, just remember to wash them separately. Hang up to drip dry out of direct sunlight - a shower is perfect for this. Can be ironed on a medium to high setting or steamed. Iron whilst damp for best results.
