Nothing says summertime more than striped cotton and with Ayra we wanted to experiment with the classic shirt dress to make something a little different and much more wearable. What we have is a classic button through dress with a v-neck, but the clever bit is the tie front that creates a very flattering shape and bow detail at the waist. Pockets are the final feature that we just couldn't do without.
The other VERY special feature of this dress is that the aqua and dark grey stripes were printed by hand using wooden blocks. But we didn't stop there - the striped fabric returned to our studio to be cut out by our tailors and it then went back to the block printing company to have the large flowers placement printed on the hemline and on the back between the shoulders. It's a special piece made in a very small batch so exclusivity is a big part of owning an Ayra dress.

Rinse in cold water before the first wash. This garment is fully machine washable at 30 degrees and always wash with similar colours. Iron whilst still damp. The cotton becomes softer with each wash.
